The lady did ask me for my identification card for my service animal but she said never mind since I chose to eat outside. *Note* businesses shouldn’t ask you for paperwork or identification for your service animal. Overall the staff there was very friendly and very tentative. The staff were being genuine when they waited on you, that kind of service you can actually enjoy the food. Speaking of, the fish just melted in your mouth but I believe the rice was the star here. Made to perfection. I ordered the Chirashi bowl and the side dishes were delicious. I’m very happy with the service and the food. I am definitely coming back with my husband.

Each piece of sushi, was very tasty off the charts in taste. Almost like a little piece of art that melts in your mouth. Service was very detailed, place was packed at happy hour, the chef was still on top of his game and very friendly. The ambience And decor of the restaurant was clean and open it was a little small and busy. However there is outdoor sitting, but I didn’t like it.

I used to come to Sankai Sushi years ago but stopped coming after changes in ownership led to bad quality sushi. However, I decided to give it another chance about a month ago, and I was pleasantly surprised. Each piece of Sushi reflected quality. The fish is impeccably fresh, and Chef Yoshi ensures great customer service. The sushi itself is amazing, sourced with care to ensure optimal flavor and texture. Whether you opt for traditional nigiri or inventive rolls, each bite is a testament to the chef's skill.

I'm obsessed with Sankai Restaurant! This cozy Japanese gem has stolen my heart with its consistent awesomeness! When Sankai changed owners a couple years ago we stopped going to the restaurant - food wasn’t as good and they took some of my faves off the menu. We went back recently and I think it has changed hands again. Anyway - everything we ordered was great - and all our faves were on the menu (shrimp boat, Santa Ana burrito, tuna tataki with creamy sauce, yellowtail collar...). Service was great.

My family love this Japanese restaurant, the Beef Teriyaki combo (Shrimp Tempura) Chicken Teriyaki combo, and Volcano (scallops with California rolls) are our favorite dish here.....
